Along with the model Brochures that Austin produced, that can be found elsewhere on the Archive web site, Austin and other manufacturers produced publications that relate to the Austin 7 but don’t quite fall into the Brochure category. Initially, when the Archive was first published, these were all held as one resource. Having started to accumulate and digitise more of this type of material, it is time to devote a section to this collection independently. As with the Model Brochures, more items will be added to this collection as they are acquired.
Much helpful material can be found in this collection – guidance on Carburation and Electrical equipment, for example, publications in foreign languages and other paper based materials such as standard letters issued to owners along with more individual items.
No particular order is assigned to these items (as in the Brochures that are assigned a Publication number by Austin and, in the main, are dated) so they will appear in, perhaps, randomly. They do bear study, however, as much of the information is interesting, informative and, in many cases, still relevant.
